The Rubric for Education - A FRAMEWORK FOR PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Progressive education systems rely on networks of many kinds - schools with their communities, schools with other schools, networks of teachers learning from each other, networks of teachers with other professionals supporting each other in educating young children.
These networks rely on the quality of the interactions between staff of different professional backgrounds.
Successful Collaborations partnered with the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority creating networks of early childhood professionals in local areas to enrich teachers’ assessments of young children's learning and development.
In this project the Collaboration Rubric showed how to build trust and respect between professionals of different backgrounds and what was necessary to maintain these relationships.
